“There’s something special in the air that happens at Loca on a Sunday & you can see it on everyone’s smiling faces.
The excitement of Yorkshire puddings so big they should probably have their own postcode. The joy of our thick & thin gravy cascading down slow roasted beef, almost like it’s been waiting all week for its moment. The joy of chef Harry emerging from the kitchen like a proud parent, cradling a tray of Yorkies that could double as hats as he makes his way down the kitchen catwalk. Our Sunday roasts aren’t just meals — they’re a weekly ritual.

Warm, comforting & mouth watering. It’s time to hit the reset button for Felixstowe& beyond. You can feel it in the kitchen, that quiet little hum from Harry followed by the iconic cackle of chef Chelle as each plate is built to perfection: roasties crackling with golden edges, veg steamed, meats sliced tender, those slow-blink moments when the first spoonful of gravy hits the plate & everyone in the pass just nods like, yeah… that’s the one.

And then they land in front of you — steaming, generous, unapologetically hearty.

At Loca Bar & Restaurant, we’re unwrapping a festive treat that’s far too indulgent to leave under the tree.
This is our stamp on the Beef Wellington that doesn’t just arrive at your table… it struts in just like our front of house team!

Wrapped in golden pastry that’s crisp on the outside & scandalously soft underneath, this beauty holds a centre of tender, blushing beef, the kind of perfection that makes you wonder if it’s morally right to enjoy something this much in public!

Then comes the horseradish mashed potato. Creamy, velvety, & whipped to a texture that could make even the Grinch grin. It has just enough heat to tease, tingle & tempt you into going back for a mouthful & more! Those rosemary baby carrots?
Let’s just say they’ve been roasted low & slow until they’re sweet, soft, & ready to misbehave.

The buttered tenderstem broccoli joins the party with a glossy green shimmer, glistening like it’s been waiting all year to show off. Finishing off with the red wine jus.
